Editorial Review of Pacific Terrace Hotel

The Pacific Terrace Hotel is a private island anchored on San Diego’s mainland of Pacific Beach. Rooms and suites boasts a whole score of amenities: plush terry bathrobes, refrigerators on request, separate refreshment centers, high-speed Internet access and 42" flat screen plasma TVs. Private balconies and patios with grand ocean views are the norm, and suites also feature whirlpool tubs for the lovers and breakfast bars for the kids. Parking is a pain in PB, but this hotel offers gated underground parking. No need to move your car anyway— the area’s countless restaurants and nightlife attraction are within a few blocks or less. And when you come home, the sound of waves will soothe you to sleep.

Added 05/20/07 Nice Hotel

Big and clean rooms, very friendly and accommodating staff, free breakfast and paper, as well as wine from 4 to 5 in the afternoon, and unlike other hotels, it doesn’t scrimp on bath products. No free internet though, but they do have this kiosk where you can check your email. Still, this is one hotel I’ll have no problems staying at should I visit San Diego again.
