While most visitors are immediately drawn to the quaint, cozy feel of the Ocean Villa Inn in Ocean Beach, the most unique feature about the Inn has to be the dog-friendly atmosphere. The Ocean Villa Inn will welcome your pet with open arms. It’s arguably one of the best “amenities” this cozy inn offers. Make sure you pick a downstairs room, however, as dogs are not allowed to stay in upstairs rooms because of the balconies. In addition to its pet-friendly motto, the Ocean Beach Ocean Villa Inn offers several different room types to choose from, including the incredibly cozy Junior Suite. The suite offers a large bed, full kitchen amenities and a beautiful ocean view. Guests can cuddle up and watch the magnificent San Diego sunset from their hotel window, or enjoy a walk around the beach.

Added 06/11/11 Have been staying here for 25 years

Approx. 25 years ago I found this little hotel on the beach. I loved it and have been coming back when I visit ever since. I even have a favorite room. It is not "luxury" but it has always been clean and reasonably priced. It is right on the beach, you can hear the waves from your balcony. Shopping and places to eat very close. If you need a clean place to stay on the beach, try Ocean Villa.
