Added 03/02/09 Wedding on the beach

My niece just got married recently at La Jolla Shores...the wedding was absolutely gorgeous. She and her husband treated close family and friends to a night at the La Jolla Shores Hotel and the service was excellent. The hotel staff had helped plan the wedding as well as the reception, and they were very professional and accommodating. The view from our rooms was breathtaking, all I could see was sand and ocean, and even though I live right here in southern California I felt like I was on a beautiful getaway vacation...the hotel even planned a family brunch the morning before the wedding. It's a shame that I live too close to come here to stay for vacation all the time!
