There is an old saying that if a person has a good experience they might tell one person but if they have a bad experience they will tell everyone they know. Until recently I would have to say this was very true for me. What made me change and write this positive review is the experience I had with the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. To put it bluntly this is the hotel you want to stay at if you want excitement and night life. From the moment I arrived in the car to the moment I left I encountered the most professional and courteous staff I have ever experienced. My stay was not without logistical issues but due to the amazing staff and management everything was handled timely and courteously. The initial room I was given did not have enough seating to entertain my guests but with a very quick conversation I was moved to a much more desirable and accommodating room. The room was clean and very plush and the view of San Diego was astounding and the environment was electric. The Lobby comes alive at night and is replete with fun and music and beautiful women. I was never impeded coming to and from my room even during the busiest times of the night. All I need do was show my room key and I was guided around the club entry line directly where I needed to go. At one point I even needed additional seating, and stylish chairs were brought up to the room in short order. If you want to splurge and feel pampered and enjoy opulence and fun then I can only recommend the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego.
It's completely ridiculous how much the outside rooms (above the main lobby) vibrated on a Friday night. Although it may be a nice hotel, the noise is completely out of control on the weekends. We were here for a conference, and although the meeting facilities were nice, I was so exahausted on Saturday from lack of sleep, that I couldn't enjoy my time here in the SD area. Will complain to the front desk in the morning (as they can't turn down the base on their partygoers anyway). Not sure they'll have another room, as we had to wait for our room when we checked in (even though we arrived at 4pm on a Wednesday).
