We all need a little pampering now and then, and this is one of my favorite places on earth! The Spa and Estancia La Jolla is a small facility but luxurious and carefully designed. I spent a day here with my dear friend Jenny and we lounged in their outdoor gardens and jacuzzi. Warm, attentive service. Relaxing ambience. Thoughtful amenities. Valet takes your car and you walk through the beautifully designed hotel and grounds and make your way to the spa. The Spanish design and architecture and the interior courtyards are romantic. Stay the day, grab a cabana by the pool and order a bite from the grill. Melt away in the well appointed relaxation rooms, meditation gardens and enjoy the consistently excellent service. A friend recommended I stay at this hotel for my business trip last month. I took his word for it, and was pretty glad I did. There was high-speed Internet access in my room, which was very comfortable and spacious, not to mention tastefully designed, and had a very comfy bed. The food is great, especially at the Mustangs and Burros restaurant. I am most definitely coming back.
