At the San Diego Empress Hotel in La Jolla, the light is always on for you. The quaint, coastal hotel prides itself in warm hospitality and thoughtful service. Although the mood is homely, the décor is anything but. The lobby's large oak pillars and contrasting navy blue and cream motif remind visitors of an elegant, historic mansion with great views of La Jolla's beautiful coves and cliffs. The hotel offers four types of rooms: traditional, deluxe, empress and empress spa. For those that need the ultimate in relaxation, four of the empress spa suites offer in-room hot tubs, while all rooms offer in-room spa services through Spa2Go. The guest suites follow an English garden theme, down to the floral green and white bedding and rustic, oak furniture. In the morning, the hotel's guests take pleasure in complimentary breakfasts on the floral outdoor patio. To decompress, try the La Jolla Empress Hotel in San Diego.
