From ocean views to complimentary tea and cakes in the afternoon, the Del Mar Inn is a breath of fresh air from the daily nine-to-five grind. The quaint, cottage-like architecture whisks guests away to the English countryside, while still remaining within walking distance of San Diego's Del Mar district. The moderately sized room motifs are consistent with an English garden theme, right down to the floral bedding and antique oak furniture. Each room contains a 25 inch color television with full cable; other rooms may also contain expanded vanities and kitchenette sets.
Even though the hotel is a short walk from San Diego's white beaches, the Del Mar Inn also offers a heated outdoor pool and a whirlpool. For events, the inn opens its library, and Garden Room meeting and banquet space for rent. While watching the waves crash on the shore and sipping on a cup of Earl Grey, the Del Mar Inn's guests cannot help but breathe easy.

Added 02/10/12 Excellent Location, Beautiful Spot.

The Del Mar Inn, is far from the ordinary hotel accomodation. It has become a beach vaction destination. New additions such as: new restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner (with beer and wine), updated beautiful room changes, new library, cute gym room and heated pool and spa! Has a large meetin space by the garden area. Very impressed, and good rates.
