Teitur Lassen is a singer/songwriter from the Faroe Islands. He started his career in a pop/rock band called Mark No Limits as the lead singer/songwriter. At 17, Teitur left the islands for Copenhagen. He dedicated himself to playing and writing music in English full-time, and quickly caught attention for his talents.

In 2003, Teitur’s first album Poetry & Aeroplanes was released. Within months of the release, he was opening for Suzanne Vega, Aimee Mann, and John Mayer. Since then, Teitur has gone on to release four more albums. His latest release is titled Let the Dog Drive Home, and was produced by Teitur himself.
