Music is the soul of Hard Rock, and we're excited to provide San Diego with a unique live music series "SOUNDCHECK," along with partner FILTER Magazine, a leading, LA-based music lifestyle publication. SOUNDCHECK showcases big buzz bands for intimate, up-close-and-personal performances in Hard Rock's hip 207 bar, and is rounded out by support from top local bands and DJs. The best part? The events are FREE and open to the public.

Lucky number 7? Yes, for the seventh installment of the now uber popular series, Hard Rock welcomes the nonconformist sounds (and antics) of garage rock group The Black Lips. Hailing from small town Georgia, the band masterfully fuses sounds of rock, blues, punk, country and even doo-wop. Features in Spin and Rolling Stone magazines in 2006 helped shine a national spotlight on the electric group, and now their fan base has exploded to every corner of the globe. Solidly known for a unique and unpredictable live show, playing festivals and gigs across the world, this is one show not to miss.
