The Poinsettia Bowl Battle of the Bands in the Gaslamp Quarter is scheduled to take place on Monday, December 21st at 6:00 p.m. Just two days before the popular Poinsettia Bowl, the Gaslamp Quarter will be filled with a competitive and festive crowd made up of the competing teams and their cheer squads, their supportive family and friends, and college sports enthusiasts.
The bands of the two Poinsettia Bowl teams will line up at opposite ends of Fifth Avenue in the Gaslamp Quarter. At the corner of Market Street and Fifth Avenue, the bands will square off, face each other, and battle! This is a unique event to San Diego that will pump up the teams and the fans before the big Poinsettia Bowl Game on Wednesday, December 23rd.
