Sophie's mosaic artists created a variety of fanciful winged creatures using glass and ceramic tiles as well as repurposed objects. This collection of charming mosaic pizza peels, bread boards and rolling pins are handcrafted by Sophie's Gallery artists. Each artist selected their board shape then started with a colorful drawn image on the wood surface. Next they began the time and labor-intensive process of covering the wood with small mosaic pieces, grouting between the spaces, and finished with painting and sanding the exposed wood.
