16 years old, the Festival of Arts, has grown into a local tradition embracing a diverse line-up of bands, dancers and artists into one marathon day of performances spread across six stages. This FREE festival is back, better than ever, May 20th, from 11a - 6p.

Being on forefront of the art scene, the North Park Festival of the Arts celebrates all types of art forms with over 40 showcased artists. Displaying elaborate paintings to metal sculptures, the creativity and talent continues with an array of over 50 specialty and food booths featured along University Avenue. There will be something for everyone - including the kids! At the Hands-On Arts area, children are offered the chance to participate in free, interactive activities designed to stimulate and inspire their imaginations to create their own masterpieces.

In addition, samples from San Diego's most popular breweries are available for $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The Craft Beer Block returns to Ohio Street this year in full force, complete with a plethora of amazing breweries, including Stone, Coronado, Green Flash, The Lost Abbey, and many more. Admission gets you 10 tastes of your local favorites and beer-friendly foods from North Park eateries.
