On the front lines of today’s battle for Marriage Equality and
one of the premier leaders in the modern LGBT civil rights movement:
A rare opportunity, to meet and hear from one of America’s premier leaders in the modern LGBT civil rights movement at a Special Reception presented by the San Diego Democratic Club, for Kate Kendell, executive director of the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR). The NCLR is a national legal organization committed to advancing the civil and human rights of LGBT people and their families through litigation, public policy advocacy, and public education. Through direct litigation and advocacy, the NCLR works to change discriminatory laws and to create new laws and policies benefiting the LGBT community.
