Attention all up-and-coming musical artists! Terra Nova Plaza is proud to host the 4th Annual Battle of the Bands competition. Beginning July 5, the competition occurs every Thursday at 7PM until the finale on July 26, when a panel of judges will determine the Best of the Best for cash prizes. FM 94.9 will be on-hand at every performance with fantastic giveaways in addition to the Terra Nova Plaza’s participating merchants who will have special offers, raffle prizes and terrific giveaways of their own. Make sure to bring everybody out to this family friendly event as there will be crafts, face painters and balloon artists to entertain members of the whole family.

To enter your band into the competition, simply visit any Terra Nova Plaza business from May 1, 2012 through June 8, 2012 and drop off your band’s demo CD at any Battle of the Bands drop box, which are marked by the official Battle of the Bands poster. Be sure to include your contact information including full name, phone number and e-mail address. All bands must provide their own instruments, as the only equipment provided are the stage and sound. The winning band will be crowned on the final night, July 26, with the grand prize winner earning $750, second place will get $500, and third place wins $250.
