Walk the Walk's real aim is to bridge the gap between artists and the public, shifting energies towards supporting local talent, and honoring those who stay the creative course no matter the obstacles.

The first part is a free art walk merging local artists with the over 65 galleries, boutiques, and other establishments on The Avenue. A trolley will escort guests along the route.

The second part is the addition of a Coachella-style festival, happening in the 7,500-person capacity Adams Recreation Center. The AAA Festival will feature three stages spotlighting the best in San Diego performance, from music to stand-up comedy to blacklight theatre. The Festival is a fundraiser to maintain the activity programs at the Adams Recreation Center.
