The San Diego family of Hilton Worldwide and local restaurants, are joining forces once again this year to address and help solve the growing hunger issue of San Diego through the second annual Hunger at Home. This year, Hunger at Home hopes to raise $500,000, which would be enough money to provide more than 4 million meals for those in need in addition to nutrition counseling and a variety of other services provided by Hunger at Home’s 2009 charity partners. This year’s gala theme, Through Their Eye's; A Vision of Those In Need will feature homeless students who have been given cameras to shoot what's important to them and give a sense of what their everyday life is like. These shots will then be edited by Dennison Media Group and on display during the event to be auctioned later in the evening.
