We are seeking Account Executives who will be responsible for selling our diverse offering of ad programs to businesses in San Diego as well as national advertisers who are interested in our demographic. Based from our office in La Jolla, the Account Executive role comprises of in-office sales (phone/online), as well as face-to-face presentations and consultations.

Account Executives are responsible for acquiring new advertising accounts as well as providing industry leading customer service to a client account base. DiscoverSD.com provides business owners a simple way to cost-effectively market their business and connect with more consumers through highly targeted channels.

Requirements

• 2 years prior outside sales experience preferably in online or traditional ad sales
• Proven ability to exceed sales quotas
• Ability to generate a high level of new business activity in a fast-paced environment
• Strong presentation, networking, time management and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as a team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Windows, Office, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
• BA or BS in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
