This office is amazing!!! Never in all my 35 years have I had such a pleasant dental experience. I moved to the San Diego area about 2 years ago. Like most it took me having an existing crown of mine come off for me to call and see a dentist. I phoned the office, spoke to Jessica who was very pleasant and professional. She asked several questions to get the details of my exact situation and the time I would be in the office to see the Doctor. She had me download my paperwork online from their website. This was fast and very user friendly. She saw me the same day, though she told me I would have to wait a little for my appointment, she did not want me to go another night with out my tooth. When I walked in I was greeted again by Jessica (like she was waiting for me) and she verified my paperwork and sat me right away. I was given a warm neck pillow which seemed to make the fact that my tooth was in my hand, not so bad. The assistant, Michelle, came in, took 2 xrays, which were very fast and painless (not the old bulky ones) and then minutes later Doc came in. He let me know that my old crown did need to be replaced as it was fractured but he would put me back together. Before I knew it, the assistant typed something from the back room to the receptionist up front. Doc fixed my tooth and when I was escorted to the front for check out, the front desk girl, (sorry I don't remember her name) had all my insurance information, what they paid for and what they didn't, and also my treatment plan for my new crown. She remembered that I worked afternoons from my initial phone call with Jessica, (how she knew, I don't know) and had 3 available times for me to choose from in the mornings which is what I prefer. This place also has a great atmosphere, everyone was laughing and I loved how the patients coming in and out while I was there seemed to talk to all the girls and Doc like they were all old pals. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will return and have finally found a dental offic

Best dentist I've ever been to in my nearly 40 years on the planet. I've previously had bad experiences with dentists to the extent that I've avoided going until absolutely necessary. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They've been quick to help get me in when I needed it and friendly at every turn. I had enough dental work done through Dr. Friedman (sorry if I misspelled your name Greg!) to be able to present an informed opinion based on the actual services rather than a sales call. The dentist is enthusiastic and passionate about his work and is highly skilled. He teaches dentistry and has a wide variety of the latest tech to make sure that the treatments go as smoothly and pain free as possible. The hygienists are first rate and the office staff makes visiting a pleasure. I finally found a dentist to whom I would travel even if I lived out of state. I'm sure that if the other reviewer didn't get her quote quickly, it's because there were people who needed immediate care.

BEST DENTIST I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! I LOVE GOING TO SEE MS. JESSICA, JUDY, WANDA, AND MICHELLE!!! Dr. GREG is AMAZING! :) Had some spaces between my teeth. Doc Greg gave me some opitons. I had them filled and now I have a beautiful smile without getting food stuck between them :P lol. I would highly RECOMMEND as I have been doing every chance I get!!

I love this team!!!! Wanda is fantastic with my whole family and Doc and team are always so fun and nice and most of all they are GREAT at what they do. I've been a client for years and readily recommend them to everyone!!!!

I have been seeing Doc Greg and the Mod Squad for about 8 years now. I have since moved out of the Scripps area but still feel it so worth the drive from Pacific Beach now. The office has all the latest in dental equipment and such a friendly team. They know who you are and ask about your life, family and friends. I love that about this office. I never looked forward to getting my teeth looked at or even cleaning for that matter, until I found Doc Greg and his team. They making visiting the dentist so fun. And the latte when you enter is great too. :) Thanks guys!!!

I have been coming to Dr. Friedman for years. He is very professional, I never wait for my appointment time, and his team is so super friendly and helpful. Both myself and my wife come to Dr. Friedman and I am now bringing in my son. This office has a very family, warm atmosphere and I do not mind visiting the dentist, in fact, I actually look forward to it. Will continue to come to Mod Squad Dental and suggest to others as well. Love the wand thing for Docs shots......I feel nothing!!!! Thanks guys!

First, things first.To me pain is important. Every time i go to the Dentist. I am in pain for at least a week or more(my teeth have hurt for yrs.) So i decided to try a new dentist. Boy, was i surprised and delighted.The staff is the most professional and knowledgeable to deal with. I feel after a visit that they really cared about me and all my dental needs/ asked question and even listened to my concerns. Dr. Friedman, saved one of my teeth after other,s would not even try. and number one, as i have stated no pain.This has been a good experience and I look forward to going to the dentist.( did i just say that!) thanks again to Dr Friedman and his wonderful staff. It's always a pleasant experience visiting your office. Wanda has the best personality and every time I'm there I'm greeted with sincere people who love their jobs. It's very refreshing to get such a wonderful welcome, especially when customer service appears to have no meaning at so many other establishments.

I love Dr. Friedman and his entire team!!!!! What a great place. I can not say enough about this place. Great customer service, the team knows what they are talking about, and I am not scared to visit the dentist any longer. I had a very bad experience when I was a child. I visited Dr. Friedman after not going to the dentist for 5 years. I did need a deep cleaning which was done in 2 visits. No pain at all!!!! They had this little machine that made the shot not hurt what so ever! GREAT! Then Doc replaced all my old black fillings in 1 visit. Jessica even went and got me a smoothie :) Now, that is customer service!!!!!! Thank you! All of you!!!!

As good as it gets!!!! Yes, this office is the best!!! But do not take my word for it...Check it out for yourself. The team is great and soo helpful. My hygienist, Michelle, was so sweet. She did not give my riot act for not flossing, instead she told and showed how me to do it correctly and explained the reasoning behind the process. And then said, if I did not floss, she didn't mind because she could see me more often :) But seriously, this office is 5 star plus a few. Judith and Jess were very helpful with all my insurance questions. I thought I knew my insurance benefits, but had no idea all the stipulations and restrictions my insurance actually had. I do pay a little out of pocket and it was well worth it. PS- I love the excellent spa services; blankets, headsets, and a WOW warm neck pillow :) Love this place!!!!!!! Thank you Mod Squad and Dr. Friedman. I love my new smile!!!!!!!!

This office is AMAZING!! From the moment I spoke to Jess on the phone....Very professional, informative, and considerate!! She knew what she was talking about. I was looking for a new office and I am so glad I was referred here by a friend. I had not been cleaned in over 3 years, yet I am a business women and very busy. She explained to me that I however would not be cleaned at my first visit. I have to say I was not pleased with this recommendation. However, after she explained that every visit is NOT the the same and customized for my needs and situation, I quickly understood. After visiting the office for the first time to which I was welcomed by Jess at the front door, I understood why I was not allowed to get me cleaning the first day. I actually needed a little "extra" tender love and care with my first cleaning to get me back to "ok" with my gums and appointments as Michelle, my hygienist, told me. When returning for my second visit and my cleaning, I was much more calm because I had already met the entire team and had a tour of the office. Much less stress than visiting for a cleaning "site unseen"!!! Love this place. And you guys rock with the butter toffee lattes :) S Claire

WOW! Doc F is awesome! I had a toothache over the weekend and his team phoned me back right away. I was called in some medicine over the weekend and then they saw me Monday to take care of my issue. I am now back on track and have my gum disease (which I did not know I had) under control. Thank you Dr. Friedman and your great staff for making my appointment FUN and not so typical dentist-like! Latte was amazing by the way! Thanks Jessica :)

There is nothing but excellent comments I can make about this office. I absolutely hated going to the dentist. I'm not a big needle fan and I just do not like someone in my "close space". From the moment I walked in, Judy, at the front desk was so friendly and offered my a latte or bottled water. But may I add that she knew my name!!! This was impressive to me because I had never been here before. I was able to fill out all my pre-paperwork in the comfort of my home before my appointment. Awesome! No waiting! Jessica then came and got me for my photo shoot:) She took several photos of my teeth and immediately reviewed them with me on the TV screen. Cool! She showed me some areas of my current old silver fillings that was cracked and one was actually bothering me. She explained the steps of toothaches to me and it actually made sense. Doc Friedman then came in for my exam. He was very detailed in explaining to me everything he was doing. He even did an oral cancer thingy that my old office never did. He told me of some silver fillings that need to be replaced by also some that were fine. Yes, my silver were fine!! I saw Michelle right after for my cleaning and I actually laughed with her much of the appointment. Changing my idea of dentists FOREVER! I LOVE THIS PLACE AND WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS. :) Thanks MOD Squad Dental
