Contributor's Summary: Alright, so I didn't grow up in America's Finest City. I'm what you call a Diego transplant. I’m originally from a little town called Brea (not to be confused with the Tar Pits) where everything closes at 10pm on a daily basis. Our three sources of entertainment in high school were the mall, the movie theater and house parties that were usually broken up by the cops by 11 – if we were lucky. I moved to San Diego to attend SDSU....and mainly so I wouldn't die of boredom before the sprightly age of 21. I graduated in May of 2010 and I'm SO glad it's over....so glad that I tripped down the stairs after running across the stage to grab my fake diploma at our horrendously painful 3 1/2 hour ceremony. Nowadays, I'm the Associate Editor at DiscoverSD. When I'm not gulping down bottles of wine and smoking hookah on Friday lunch breaks with our lovely Editor-in-Chief Michelle Guerin, you can find me strolling on the beach with my furry, four-legged ginger BFF Hank Moody; savoring delicious cuisine at the best San Diego restaurants; fist-pumping/coffin-diving/drinking Party Jeff's magnums of champagne at Voyeur; annnnnd generally being the deluded individual that I am.Oh right, almost forgot to mention....I'm a girl....just in case you weren't aware!
