| ProsCute trendy jewelryConsUnreasonable return policy for a 4 hour time period.ConclusionI forgot all about a clutch for the party. So I have to see if they have any at lunchtime again, hours before the party. Then I will not return. And really, what kind of dork actually gives out her boss's personal number anyway? |
| | The first time I shopped there, I had a good experience. The jewelry is cute. Picked up a couple trendy necklaces. Actually took one apart to use the charms in one of my own designs.
Second time I went I needed jewelry for a Xmas party the following evening. I went during my lunchtime and was in a bit of a hurry. I left the store at 1:30. Right before leaving work for the day at 5, I showed my purchases to a coworker and discovered a black blemish on one of the charms on the silver necklace. I bought earrings and a ring specifically to match up with the necklace. There was nothing else I wanted at this store that interested me for this particular occasion. I figured I would get a no-hassle refund. But no. They wouldn't accept the ring and the earrings due to some policy I assume having to do with sanitary reasons. Fine. Except I bought the items 3.5 hours before returning to the store (receipt proved it). All tags intact. Same cashier was there. She recognized me. I didn't want an exchange. I told her I had ended up going somewhere else to buy a matching set of jewelry for the party since this didn't work out. In disbelief about the non-return situation, I asked for the manager. Homegirl behind the counter wrote down the manager's *personal number*. I looked at her and asked, "Oh, *I* am supposed to call her?!" So I call this perfect stranger on my own dime. The manager agreed to do a store credit, "but only this time". Sounded a bit condescending. So now I have to go back and buy something or I am out $38. I'm pretty turned off by this store now after this experience. |
