| ProsConsConclusionDon't go to Nicks unless you want mexi-california in your seafood. It has a nice location and the service may be better on another night. |
| | The ambiance was nice with subdued lighting and period photos of PB. We expected a fresh seafood experience with diverse types of preparations. The server (though very nice) did not seem to know the menu or the promotions. There was a tent card on the table detailing a "Two for Tuesday inclusive dinner promotion including wine, entrees appetizer and dessert". When asked how our orders fit into this and whether we could have it (three different times), we were finally told that they don't do it anymore. We had to ask for the specials, ask for water and ask for drinks to be reordered. There is no child's menu available.
The preparations were almost without exception, overly spicy and unimaginative with an overabundance of jalapeno and cliantro as pervasive ingredients. |
