| | This year for my husband and I's anniversary I wanted to set up something special at a comfortable, elegant and refreshing place. I set reservations at L'Auberge Del Mar Resort and Spa for the weekend—and the experience definitely lived up to my expectations! This hotel did not feel like a hotel at all—after being casually greeted by employees at valet and check-in, my husband and I already knew this would be an enjoyable and comfortable weekend. We both felt so at ease in a suite designed with such a home-like atmosphere—it was furnished with couches, illuminated with bright natural sunlight from the patio, and not to mention had a wonderful view of the landscape and pool (where we often spent a lot of our time relaxing!). That comfortable feeling, along with the luxuriousness of the entire hotel atmosphere, definitely made our anniversary something special and everything that I had anticipated. |
