Editorial Review of
Ted Baker London San Diego
The new 3,118-square-foot Ted Baker London San Diego store is located on the lower level of Fashion Valley Mall near Bloomingdale’s, and the interior design pays homage to one of our most iconic attractions, the San Diego Zoo. We all know animal prints remain as hot as ever in fall fashion trend reports, but Ted Baker is taking this exotic tribute to a new level with a store-wide wildlife theme.
Animal motifs are etched on brushed brass and copper, and familiar images Balboa Park are set against subtle references to the London zoo in Regents Park. Ready to try something on? Head to the dressing rooms, which are designed to mimic a Victorian zoo keeper's hideaway. Vintage maps and organic textures complete the look, while signature styles are displayed in wood shelves adorned with flowers, light fixtures and antique artifacts.
And now for the fashion. The San Diego store will debut Ted Baker’s quintessentially British Fall 2011 collections. Women will be styled in dramatic yet feminine looks for fall, a mix of English countryside drama and the natural shades of autumn. Pick a bold orchid print, get serious with winter blacks, or relax with soothing camel tones. Men will embrace their inner rugged side with tweed and corduroy, twill accented by leather and quilting detail.
