Mythology is a new eco-boutique by Richard Frederick. Most clothes are eco friendly and accessories are relatively cheap. There is a great display of artwork on the walls for sale. The owner is very friendly and takes his time to explain the products in the store to customers. Richard Frederick custom-makes free belts in the store and there is a large variety of vintage and handmade belt buckles. His belts have rhinestones, turquoise, or other interesting stones or designs on them. The belts are not only out of leather, but are also in suede and other materials. He has different belt themes such as beach the “coastal reflection,” open road, western,  retro, punk, goth, and boutique. The Open Road belts are “Harley inspired” and have skulls and crossbones on the black leather belts. The western belts are out of leather with huge buckles and turquoise stones. The beach belts have depictions of different flowers or sea creatures. Richard offers to alter clothes if they are too big. He is also very knowledgeable about that Fashion Institution in New York City and his industry. This boutique has very unique work from local artists, limited edition, and one of a kind T-shirts. The boutique is also known for the highest quality materials and construction. All the accessories and different clothing items are creative and one of a kind. Everything is made from organic materials. This boutique was rated one of the best accessories within San Diego. You cannot leave Mythology empty handed. Overall it is a cool experience in this artsy and eco-friendly boutique.
