Curve Couture is a new upscale designer boutique in Solana Beach created exclusively for curvalicious ladies. Deirdre and Joel Mick grew tired of seeing fashion boutiques only offering coveted designer labels in small sizes, and decided to do something about it. This husband and wife team envisioned an upscale retail concept filled with fashion-forward designer clothing in sizes 12 and above. Through a chocolate and white striped awning that reads “Runway Styles, Real Sizes” shoppers will discover a welcoming environment filled with soft shades and natural décor, including bare birch branches, a woven sea-grass chair, and cabana-style dressing rooms complete with champagne pedestals. The merchandise is divided into three main categories, including Weekend Adventure, Impress the Boss, and Hot Date. Depending on where your lifestyle leads you, you’ll find fashions by international designers including Lundstrom, Fred Sabatier, Melissa Masse, Kouroush, Lauren Vidal and Franck Anna, among others.
