Leucadia Attractions

The slogan of this northern San Diego beach town is “Keep Leucadia Funky.” Resident locals and community fans praise Leucadia for staying true to Mom and Pop shops, such as the famous Lou’s Records, over new-age commercial enterprises. Leucadia is known for oceanside beach cottages and authentic homes, in contrast to the brand new developments within its northern neighbor, La Costa. Leucadia residents live for sunsets and good surf, and wouldn’t dare enter a Starbucks.
