Added 06/23/11 Great find of a barbershop

I saw V's when I went to get a car wash this past week (yes, I braved fair traffic for a car wash, but my car was DIRTY), and while I've gone to the Solana Beach Barbers for a while now I figured "what the heck". Anyway, I walked in and the place blew me away - this place is totally pro, it was clean and has a cool old-school vibe. The chairs are these awesome original barber chairs a from the 60s and very comfy. The music is great - well I'll admit I am a fan of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy - and the barbers are all really nice (like not fake nice, just nice people). I decided to splurge for the works package (shave, haircut, shampoo) and loved it. Heck, I almost fell asleep during the shave what with all the hot towels and warm lather - definitely something I'll be doing again. Anyway, hope your experience is as good as mine was.
