Plenty of shops, rides, and restaurants await visitors to this well-known Southern California pier. The pier is also bike and pet friendly, so feel free to come equipped. Street musicians and live performances are also fairly common, so simply finding a seat and opening your ears can make for th perfect weekend. Entrance is free, of course, making it a viable option if you are looking to spend an inexpensive, low key day on the beach. Several special events also find their way to the pier throughout the year, so be sure to check back constantly to make sure you don’t miss anything! Make sure to arrive early, as there are only so many parking spaces available and they are run on a first come first serve basis. The historic carousel can also be booked for group rides as long as the pier services are contacted before arrival.
