San Diego Safari Park
Formally known as the San Diego Wild Animal Park, the newly named San Diego Safari Park is a sight to behold animals in as close to their natural habitat as it can get. See giraffe, rhinos antelope and more roam in the open from the comfort of a tour bus or get a view of the park from above on a zip-line safari. There's lots of ways to experience the park including taking a tour by segway or for more personalized treatment the VIP safari offers it all. The park has 13 exhibits in which guest wills see everything from red river hogs and ring tailed lemurs to gorillas and cheetahs. Safari Park also preserves beautiful wild flora in the World Gardens exhibit. Safari Park brings all the magic of Africa and Asia right to our own back yard. Few people will ever have the chance to encounter the greater one-horned rhinos, tigers, condors and elephants in their natural habitats, but Safari Park is the place where these animals are rescued and preserved in a home away form home. The Safari Park, as well as San Diego Zoo, is a non-profit which strives to preserve and save the earth's most wonderful creatures. Not only can guests spend a day learning about the world around us but also feeling good that their patronage will go on to save many more animals.
