A Harvard graduate with a Masters Degree in Theology and Art and over 13 years of experience as an art dealer, Alexander Salazar’s credentials are nothing to scoff at. Salazar has worked to help create private, corporate, and celebrity collections worldwide. Apprenticing in Europe, as well as in the United States, Alexander has studied in renown art-heavy locale such as London, England and Florence, Italy. He has since opened three collections since 2010 in San Diego alone, combining to over 10,000 total square feet of unique and desirable artwork. Alexander understands the role that art plays in our lives and wants to help spread the love, helping intrigued guests pick out a pieces that they will be able to cherish and keep in their family for generations.

Check out the giant window displays of his gallery facing the corner of 7th and Broadway and stop in to get a look at this museum-quality collection located right in Downtown San Diego. This incredible corner location was transformed into a 2,000 square ft high-end fine art salon featuring the works of national and international mid-career and emerging artists. The gallery is usually open Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 6pm, with private appointments scheduled on either Sundays or Mondays. The gallery is a must see for everyone who visits San Diego; who knows, his private collection many even inspire you to create a work of art of your own. Alexander Salazar encourages the appreciation and understanding of art and its vital role in our society through many exhibitions, artist lectures, community event sponsorships and charity events.

Tons of great artwork is on display here and I make it a point to check it out fairly regularly. This place is so great it nearly gives me an art-attack every time I go. Huge windows, so peek inside to check out the haps.
